Looking for a way to easily add a set of permissions from your Users? Check out Groups.



User Groups


User Groups contain a pre-selected set of Permissions, similar to User Roles. Groups allow for quick customization of Permissions, as they can be applied and removed directly on the User level, and multiple Groups may be assigned to the same User.


Note: In order to modify Permissions for a User, your own User Account must be enabled with one of the following:

  • An "Administrative" Role
  • The "Administrators Group"
  • The "Team - Modify security" Permission


If you do not have one of these enabled, contact your System Administrator or Technical Support for assistance.



Assigning and Removing User Groups


Navigate to the User's Profile. On the Account Settings tab, scroll down to the User group/security information section.



Assign a User Group


To assign a Group, select it from the Add a group drop-down menu. You'll now see the Group assigned to the User, and Permissions will be updated accordingly.



Remove a User Group


To remove a Group, click the Remove group link. The Group will be removed, and Permissions will be updated accordingly.




List of Permissions for User Groups


The following User Groups are available to choose from:

  • Administrators
  • Sales
  • Shift Managers
  • Users


The pre-selected set of Permissions for each of these Groups are listed in the table below. Once a Group has been assigned to a User, Permissions listed as Disabled or N/A can be enabled on an individual User.
